Among them, the “International Llíria Competition for Young Performers” in the categories of wood and metal wind instruments, string and piano instruments and percussion, organized annually by the City Council.
It is also worth mentioning the “7th Congress of the European Confederation of Retired Musicians” and a memorable event such as the “String Instruments Fest 2017” organized by the City Council, the Provincial Council and the Valencian Federation of Musical Societies, which he managed to bring together more than 500 musicians performing in unison.

Among them, the “International Llíria Competition” that presents a solid cultural program that includes weekly varied musical events offered by the performers of the musical societies themselves or by foreign musicians hired especially for specific acts.
International festivals include “Perku-lliria” (which already goes for its 6th edition), or the emerging “LLUM Festival” (1st edition), which is dedicated to world music (afrofunk, Latin music, tuareg, etc.), both organized by the City Council.
Either way, the most vibrant events that take place in the city are those where the two local bands rival in concert. Thus, for more than twenty years, the “Concert of Music Bands” and the “Concert of Youth Bands” have been held.
The “Christmas Festival” (which goes for its 16th edition) is another very popular event in which numerous school choir singers (450 children in the last edition) participate.
In the framework of the main festivities, the “Festival de Llíria de pulso y plectro” which goes for its 14th edition also stands out. On the other hand, in the Church of blood, the “Festival of Choirs of Easter” is held annually (currently in its 13th edition).
