The Banda Primitiva says goodbye its bicentennial with a historic concert in Llíria

A total of eight directors and 145 musicians took over the stage and performed emblematic pieces of the society

The Clarín put an end to the commemoration of its 200 years of history with a historic and unrepeatable concert. It was an act in which music was the main protagonist, with 145 musicians and eight of the group’s history directors on stage.
The two-century old group made a historical journey to its most recent history with the interpretation of emblematic works of the society and with the reunion of the band with seven of its titular directors and one of its honorary directors. The masters Vicente Sempere Gomis, Gabriel García Martínez, Jaime Belda Cantavella, Ramón Ramírez Beneyto, Roberto Forés Asensi, Miguel Moreno Guna, Javier Enguídanos Morató and Luis Cobos took the baton of the band to enhance the enjoyment of the more than 900 spectators with pieces such as “La Gran Jota de Dolores”, the fandango of “Doña Francisquita”, “Cuadros de una exposición” or the prelude to “La torre del oro”.
After the spectacular concert, the bicentennial of the Banda Primitiva de Llíria closed screaming in unison “We will continue making history”. It was a tribute to the past and present of the Clarín, which already looks forward to the gateway to the future.
